Welcome to the simulated inclined plane.

You can control the angle of the inclined plane, the initial velocity along the plane (positive is down the plane, negative is up the plane), the mass of the object, and the initial starting height.

On the axes you can choose to display a variety of parameters related to the motion. The full scale limits of the graph will be displayed

After setting the parameters of choice , simply press the "Go" button and watch the frictionless object slide along the ramp!

In order to understand the motion you should try to predict what the graph will look like just before you release the ball.

If your guess was incorrect, try to understand what really happened.
